Weekend Spotlight: Buying Condos with just $500k - 30 May 2009
Is it even possible to achieve the most coveted of the 5 Singaporean 'C's with just $500k? Once again the H88.com.sg team debunks another urban myth - $500k condos are possible!
In fact, we even uncovered sub $500k condo units that are Freehold while doing our research! Of course with all good or cheap things come strings attached...
Pick 1 or more:
Regardless, we noted that there are some value in such units. Since most of them are smallish, investors with a humble budget should also be able to park their money to fight inflation over the long term. 1. 450k: Northoaks99yr – 2rm, 880sf @$511psf (District 25)

2. 450k: The Woodgrove 99yr – 2+1rm, 829sf @$543psf (District 25)

Pick 1 or more:
- Not close to the city
- Expensive if you calculate $ per square foot
- Dodgy neighborhood
- Small floor size
- Too good to be true. i.e.; "Oh it just sold, can I interest you in another unit sir?"
