Bukit Timah (District 21) is a Singapore address closely tied to prestige and nature. If you have a friend or are yourself looking for something out there with qualities, perhaps try The Raintree. The Raintree a 99yr leasehold condominium with 315 units recently reached temporary occupation permit status in 2008 and is perhaps one of the best representations of a luxurious life in Bukit Timah. It possibly is the closest home to nature you can get without monkeys climbing all over you.
In fact, we heard some stories of cheeky monkeys climbing over the fence from the nature reserve to live a life of luxury in The Raintree and other nearby condominiums before we visited the place. Fortunately, when we were at the condominium, there were none in sight. Until we see it for ourselves, we will dismiss it as a rumor.
For hikers, joggers and mountain bike enthusiast, The Raintree is a dream come true being nestled in a nature reserve and with nature trails literally at one's doorstep.
A serene environment is what one should expect, with an address right beside the nature reserve and lackof dense high rise buildings nearby.
Here are some photos we took of The Raintree:

A shot of the main pool and lap pool with plenty of deck chairs. It sounds like a dream come true for the sporty type - finish a jog or trek at the nearby nature reserve with a splash in the pool.

Wading pool for the little ones. Note the strategically placed gym facing the wading pool - one can keep an eye on your little ones while doing some cardio.

BBQ pits fitted with basins. Proper tables and chairs to enjoy the food on.

Another shot of the pool side.

One of the two Jacuzzis to keep adults occupied.

The Bukit Timah Nature Reserve starts...at your doorstep?

Another Jacuzzi located slightly uphill. Note the "stream" running through the estate.

Playground to keep the kids busy.

Some soul for the estate.

A typical lift lobby.

Multi purpose rooms.

A small minimart to grab some groceries from.

Games room and entrance of multi-purpose room.

Sauna to pamper yourself in.

Basement carpark is the standard.

hang your laundry enjoy the view.

A charming shot of a feature wall.

The entrance of The Raintree. A single road leads uphill serving the condominium. It is otherwise unused.

The estate rises up only about 10 storeys in all - like many other buildings in the area.
