Euphony Gardens is located in District 27, a place far far away for some. But really, it is not as remote as some might think. Just off Sembawang Road, Euphony Gardens is a 99yr leasehold condominium that reached Temporary Occupation Permit status in around 2002.
It has 304 units, in the form numerous 4 storey blocks and is just to the West of Yishun flanked by restricted areas (i.e.; Sembawang Airbase), so there is unlikely many high rise apartments staring down into the estate.
Immediately on entering the condominium, a very laid back lifestyle greeted us. Check out the photos we took:
Sizeable pool with a nice Jacuzzi to sit back and relax in.
A multi purpose room, typical of mass market condominiums.
Full sized tennis courts surrounded by greenery.
Yet another tennis court. We were quite in love with how peaceful the estate was.
Playground for the kids to go crazy in, although the unit nearby might be affected.
A typical BBQ Pavillion.
More BBQ pits to go around.
Some fitness stations, and incense bins.
The estate was very well manicured.
We didn't know what to make of this statue of a piper, but hoped it has nothing to do with the empty playground...(we are of course kidding).
Multi purpose room again.
Courtyard to laze around in. It's ironic that only projects far from the city can seem to afford such luxury...
A basement car park for the residents. Plenty to go around.
The welcoming entrance of Euphony Gardens.
Oh the luxury of space...perhaps people staying far from town really live better.
A nice parting shot of the estate. We noticed the somewhat lackoff patios...but most locals I speak too aren't really big on it anyway (why should I pay for useless space??? etc...)Details and location map of Euphony GardensPosted on 15-05-2009 18:32 | By Francis
