Bayshore Park received its TOP in 1986 – a good 23 years ago. However interest in this 99yr Leasehold estate has remained strong over the years. Once upon a time the queen of District 16, Bayshore Park eventually gave up her crown to
The Bayshore and then
Costa Del Sol – all within a short distance of each other.
While not close to much amenities, the Bayshore neighbourhood is blessed with a quiet laid back atmosphere and sits beside the ECP – meaning a drive to town is at most 20 minutes away and is just 5-10 minutes to the airport. Those travelling by public transport however will find themselves a considerable distance to the closest MRT station.
When we paid a visit to this lovely estate, we were greeted with the charm of a retired estate that still glows from within; while wrinkled, retains her warmth and character. In total there are 1093 units in this large sprawling estate that could only be described in pictures:

Bayshore Park has two large pools. This is the smaller of the two along with a tiny wading pool.

The other large swimming pool to accommodate its residence. Two towers of Bayshore Park can be seen in the background.

There are a ridiculous number of tennis courts spread over the estate; we lost count.

Another tennis court located closer in land.

A basketball court for those who don’t quite get tennis.

Nothing we have seen can beat this for sure…it’s very own soccer field complete with goal posts.

One of the two playgrounds – it certainly looks very well maintained.

Another playground found further in.

There are many pavilions like these found scattered across the estate. Mostly close to the tennis courts.

Full BBQ facilities.

Another shot of the scenic BBQ areas.

Fitness benches are also scattered across the estate.

Plenty of tables for your guests when holding a large BBQ.

Vending machines are also located across the estate.

Foot
torture reflexology paths…

How many condominiums can afford space for a pond as large as this?

Winding long path that encircles the huge estate is perfect for walking the dogs or going for a jog.

Ah yes…a blast from the past: stone tables with seats.

Another shot of the huge pond…imagine if this piece of land is redeveloped.

The famous Dolphina Clubhouse in Bayshore Park is so large that it can be seen as an individual building in satellite photos.

The inside of the Clubhouse accommodates a number of shops. On the right is a supermarket.

A hair salon can also be found among the shops.

Looking down into the squash court, another feature found commonly in condos built in the 80’s.

Another shot of the squash courts.

Squash has since lost its popularity since the 80’s, and perhaps led to the introduction of a sizable gym.

A makeshift table tennis setup in the squash court. Table tennis has been making a comeback since Singapore scored its first Olympic medal in the longest time.

Bayshore features its very own café.

A S.A.M. machine to pay bills and post stuff!

Residents can choose to park in the open car parks.

Large basement car park for all its residents.

A picturesque shot of one of Bayshore Parks many towers.

Somehow the architecture does not look as dated like many condominiums built in the 80’s.

Close up of the façade. Bayshore Park used to offer panoramic sea views to the east before the construction of The Bayshore and Costa Del sol.

The winding structural beams on the right are very unique – although it is not clear if they serve any purpose.
