When we last checked, 8@Woodleigh units on sale were asking for approximately between $750-780psf. Based on past experience, prices for a hot project may even go up as the developer sells more units and are more confident. We now present a quick price comparison for resale condominiums that are in the same area as the new 99yr Leasehold condominium by Frasers Centrepoints Homes.

Update: There have been unconfirmed reports of some smaller 8@Woodleigh units asking for up to $870psf!!!

Traditionally, Freehold projects of similar build typically command a price premium of anywhere from 20-40%. So it is quite obvious that the 99yr Leasehold 8@woodleigh is sticking out amongst Freehold projects.

Is 8@woodleigh overpriced? Or are the surrounding freehold projects undervalued? We know for sure that for the longest time, condominiums here have been neglected due to the past (ask your parents) despite being in close proximity to town. However with things starting to roll in this district, this could perhaps be the next Bishan. We leave it to you guys to decide.
